Damien Langan is a full-time real estate agent in Mobile County and Baldwin County, Alabama, and he is grateful for the opportunity to serve the community in this way!
Damien has been a licensed Realtor since 2006, but it’s so much that he did prior to this that has given him the skills to effectively communicate with people and handle any real estate situation which he is presented. Fortunately for Damien, his work is something that he’s really passionate about and keeps him tremendously interested!
Damien is happily married to his wonderful wife, Julia, and they have 4 children, Eva, Luke, Siena, and Marshall. He was born and raised in Mobile, Alabama and educated at St. Ignatius Catholic School, McGill-Toolen High School, and The University of Alabama. During College, Damien’s favorite class was Business Ethics which demonstrated right and wrong and the importance of integrity, honesty, and responsibility. Formal debates in front of the class would often show two valid sides to an issue and reveal that what motivates one party may not even be considered by the other. Damien has completed the Mobile Historic Development Commission’s Preservation Leadership Class. Currently, he serves as the Vice President for the Exchange Club of Mobile and on the Board of Directors for The Family Center of Mobile.
Damien is amazed at how much he has learned about real estate sales and home repair and construction that he feels like a sponge soaking up endless knowledge. He is constantly astonished to come across tucked away or off the beaten path neighborhoods as well as encountering superbly designed and constructed homes.
Mr. Langan is proud to call himself a native Mobilian, but he knows the importance of having lived away from Mobile as well as having traveled quite a bit. Being away from the town which you know so well and experiencing other cities and cultures may give you an appreciation for what you left at home and also provide inspiration to return and improve your locale.
Damien enjoys helping locals realize all of the great things about our area which can be so often overlooked due to our daily routines. This same enthusiasm is used to guide new residents of our area to discover what is so wonderful! The Southern hospitality and proud history and rich traditions shine through in the celebration of Mardi Gras and the preservation of our Historic Districts. From Azalea Blooms to the Majestic Oak Trees, from fishing in the Gulf of Mexico to playing golf at Magnolia Grove, from listening to the Mobile Symphony Orchestra to cheering on College Football, from touring Bellingrath Gardens to encouraging the development of Downtown Mobile, life in the Port City can be a dream!
Damien has a great deal of experience working in the foreclosure market. He has listed and sold many foreclosed properties for Freddie Mac and various banks. He has also worked with numerous buyers to find some great foreclosure deals. Damien regularly assists first-time homebuyers in making their first major purchase and establishing an investment in their future.
Damien knows the importance and seriousness of a real estate transaction especially when he’s dealing with someone’s primary residence. Although, he believes in keeping the right attitude and positive outlook to create an enjoyable sales process for his clients. Damien achieves success by simplifying the buying and selling process and reducing stress for those involved. What Damien’s profession provides is a valuable “service”, not a necessity, so it is crucial to understand that customers always have a choice. Damien wants to give his customers the best possible option through his patience, dedication, and hard work.
Since joining RE/MAX Realty Centre in 2015, Damien has a new momentum to do even bigger and better things in real estate and life for himself, his family and his friends and clients!
